YDR, YTD, YTYP, YFT, YDD and YBN explained.

YDR – Drawable

The actual 3D model of a prop: geometry, shaders, LOD levels and optionally embedded textures and collision. The Prop Creator delivers exactly this file.

YTYP – Archetypes

Your model's "business card": name, draw distance, bounding box and which texture dictionary it uses. Without a YTYP the game doesn't know your model as a prop – that's why the fxmanifest contains data_file 'DLC_ITYP_REQUEST'.

YTD – Texture dictionary

A container for DDS textures. With the Prop Creator, textures are embedded in the YDR, so you don't need a separate YTD.

YFT – Fragment

Models with moving or breakable parts, mostly vehicles.

YDD – Drawable dictionary

Several drawables in one file, typical for clothing and ped parts.

YBN – Bounds

Separate collision files, mostly for maps and MLOs. For props the collision lives inside the YDR.
